If the sight of the blue skies fills you with joy, if a blade of grass springing up in the fields has power to move you, if the simple things of nature have a message that you understand, rejoice, for your soul is alive.

I love seeing that we have quite a few of the same plants growing in our gardens, it'll just be 6 months before I see them here :) Seeing fuchsias, Clematis, penstemons and roses warms my heart!
ReplyDeleteSo glad my flowers and I are able to oblige in the heart-warming stakes, Catherine!
ReplyDeleteWhen we're having our cold, bleak time of year, during your spring and summer, you'll be able to keep me cheered with pictures of your gorgeous garden. How great is that!
Stay snug :)
Oh wow, I so love the quote at the top of your blog and so heartily agree!! And how wonderful to see all these glorious photos of flowers in full bloom, while everything is dying back, and under snow in the UK at the moment. Look forward to following.
ReplyDeleteLovely to have you visit my blog, Belinda. Thank you for leaving such a super comment.
ReplyDeleteKeep warm ;)
I can't believe how different your garden looks to mine right now! Even if I had any flowers blooming (and they'd be pretty daft to try) I couldn't see them under all of the white stuff :)
ReplyDeleteLovely to be reminded of what summer looks like!
By the way, I've just become a follower. Being a twit, I thought I'd already done it becuase I'd added you to my sidebar. Duh!
Thanks for visiting me over at mrsrunofthemills.blogspot.com, always nice to see a new face!
ReplyDeleteYour flowers... just gorgeous, reminding us that it won't be that long really until we can plan our gardens, sow the seeds to create a colourful painting with flowers outside, when we can sit in the summerhouse and hear the birds twittering (as opposed to shivering right now!), the bees buzzing, and smell the flowers blooming. Such a treat to see so much colour when all I can see is grey sky and snow on the ground.

ReplyDeleteLovely to welcome you as my 11th follower :)
Really enjoying your blog and seeing the snowy scenes - you're amazing to venture out in the early hours of the morning when it all looks so freezing, to capture it all for us.

Super to have you visit me! I'm loving all you have to share on your blog and find your writing hugely entertaining and ever so pithy. You're a very talented writer :)
You should publish a book of these pictures! Can't believe you get such beautiful detail with your point-and-shoot! Wow... so pretty!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the lovely compliment, Linda. I'm having a lot of fun, learning.
